We have used Paragon to remodel our kitchen,21/2 baths, laundry room,mud room, and refinish our downstairs wood floors. They have replaced all of our outside doors. Over a period of about 5 years total. Seeing the same crew and subcontractors and knowing them by name says a lot about a company. We would recommend Paragon to anyone without hesitation. The people are quality and the work is quality.

Perez did a great job from the initial sales/site visit through review of the final punchlist. Perez was very patient with me as I made the big decision to proceed with a whole home remodel and also as I took the time to consider and make the many large and small decisions that were needed. Examples of these decisions are: where to remove and add walls and add a ceiling beam, the best HVAC system and where to put it, new attic insulation in the rafters, the locations, type, and brand of new windows and doors, the locations and types of ceiling lighting/light switches and electrical outlets, the type of flooring, trim, and cabinets, choices for a fancy glass, tile, and stone shower, a new electrical panel, an improved roof line for the front porch, and a new concrete front stoop and sidewalk. Since my house was mostly hand-built by my ancestors, it took a lot of workmanship to bring it up to modern standards and make it really nice.

The job of replacing my porch trim and installing new gable trim was executed extremely well by Paragon. The cost was fair, the installers were competent and friendly, and the project manager was responsive and communicative. They were also able to add to the original job scope the replacement of woodpecker-damaged trim.

Our overall experience with Golden Rule was fantastic and we would recommend to a friend. Our onset experience with the initial sales rep was not ideal but Golden Rule's leadership and commitment to customer service was evident in the way that they worked with us and our dissatisfaction to get to a contract that we were both comfortable with. While we appreciate GRB's desire to make it right and work with us on our budget, we did find that certain design elements were overlooked as a result (more below) and that is the reason we are deducting a star. However, we cannot recommend or say enough good things about our Project Manager, Tom Hambleton. Tom was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond, providing great recommendations/guidance throughout. We truly felt like we were his priority during the build and because of our experience with Tom and his project management, we would recommend GRB and we have, on at least three occasions in recent weeks, recommended GRB to passers-by who ask for contact information.
